The course introduces the students to the application of economic principles to management. Topics covered include analysis of behavior of individual economic agents
Including consumers, firms and government. Supply and demand, elasticity, government intervention, theories of production, and cost. Economics of uncertainty/ risk. Introduction to behavioral economics, Pricing and output decisions under competition, monopoly,
and other market forms. Discussion of GDP, national income, inflation, and unemployment. Money and banking government policy toward money supply, spending, the national debt, and exchange rate.
